Timberfest is set the the alpineishly beautiful mountains at a lumberyard with 2 competing companies; Red and Blu. With a gameplay style like Badlands fight your way to possesion of the whole yard before finally capturing the other teams base.

Thanks to FestersPlace(.com) for allowing me to test this map on their server and probably any future disasters I create.

i can just give you visual feedback
seems to me as there could be more refined details to make it shine
* chimneys on the roof
* support-beams to break up the texture-monotony
* lift the trees from inside the ground
* improve texture orientation
* place more props
* more subtle and fine displacement-alpha
* add dirt- and paint-overlays
....

i had a little scan around the map and thought:

* The Spawn Rooms could do with more detail
* Spawn camping could be a problem
* I was running around the map looking at details and wondered if i was in the red half or blue half. Perhaps u could make it more clear by changing some of the textures in the blue half to more bluey colours, instead of having all the roof textures as red tiles
* I think there are too many health packs around the tower, and inside it

I liked the simplisity of the map, and think it will be fairly ballanced between classes :)

It seems very flat. The ground only slopes OUTSIDE the map, at least judging from these pictures.

The ground inside the map is bumpy/uneven but does not have hills. The height advantage is created via buildings that can be stood on or the ramps at the middle of the map.

The main reason the ground is bumpy is to disrupt the snipers' aim slightly so that snipers are not overpowered.

Please post any graphical bugs that I may have missed etc. in here as the next version will be final.
