:O my pc hasn't dont that for years! get a better rig man!

Thought i did have one at least well enough to not do that..

core duo 2 6300
4GB ram *3gb because of XP installed*
8800 GT
and a pretty good motherboard =(

DJive: Nope? I'm pretty positive that if you are just running the SDK on one CPU and open steam on another it wouldn't close the compiling process that hammer does..? I haven't actually tried, but I know for a fact that I've had steam open on 2 computers at one time.

If you started steam in offline mode on the compiling computer it would bypass the "2 accounts logged on" error thing.

(Bit of a bump, didn't see the previous post's date >_>)

This; I picked up the 64-bit Windows 7 RC a few weeks ago, and I will never look back. It run's absolutely amazingly, and being able to finally utilize all 4gb of RAM and proper dual channel, my compile times are quicker.

Not to mention it boots up in about 10 seconds.

I concur. It's brilliant.
