I usually play a lot as some class, eg. Spy and Medic, and I think I suck with Soldi, Demo and Heavy, and then after playing a month or two with the first two classes mostly, I switch to Soldi and notice Im somewhat okay with that, so then I play that, and this continues all the time. Havent happened to Scout yet tho, even if I have 50 h as it

All of them. With my comp team I was always on the bottom half of the leader boards but now I just jump on a pub server and in 5~10 mins I'm on of the top scorers.

I'm usually doing pretty good as Soldier when I play that class; much to my surprise, since I don't really like it nor play a lot as it.

Soldier.

I wasn't good with this class for along time, not my least played (scout) but down on the list pretty far.

Then I was playing pl_waste one day and had a good run. I thought it was just the map but I started using it more and have some really good runs with him now.
Acutally amazed myself a couple times like 'Is this ME playing soly?"

Battle Medic.

I can never decide between Kritzkrieg and Medigun so I decide "screw it" and go offense with the Blutsauger. You can keep yourself alive long enough if you're good with it.

I'm better at Sniper than I thought I was. I always had low self-esteem with that class because of how nigh-impossible it was to excel at it in TFC when you had veterans who'd been playing the game for 10 years up against you. :(

i recall sniping in tfc to be basically garbage, i still remember someone telling me, "no you don't aim at the head, you aim above the head"

I'm finally starting to get better with spy (better being occassionally able to get more than one kill per life), but maybe that's because of the 100 lines of script in my spy.cfg

I think I'm getting worse as sniper though
*bang* dammit *bang* dammit! *bang* I don't even think he's realized that I'm shooting at him yet *backstab* Hey, my rifle doesn't go backstab...oh

Soldier.

I started playing demoman as it was my previous class of choice. I hated the speed deficit. But after playing some, since it was generally overlooked. I learnt how to not run out of ammo vs 1 person and manage several foes around me.

After the scout update i seem to be good at scout having blitzed the achievements recently, although i'm still one away from the Redbull unlock.

More and mroe i find myself playing spy how ever. When times are boring and i get sick to death of being headshot crossing the bridge on 2fort i go spy and hassle the defences.

I have my moments as sniper. Generally i'm really crap at it, i can't be arsed to wait for the kills, partly why i stopped playing engineer (sick to death of no support as well). But if i get pissed off i can go on some mental headshot rampage and cause an entire team to turtle. But generally i avoid this class.

I was terrible at spy, but I started playing it more and more. I didn't realize I had been making as much progress as I had until I heard the following exchange over alltalk:

Noob: "Is spy really as easy as it looks?"
Six different people: "No" "Nope" "Are you kidding?"
Sympathetic regular: "If you want to get better at spy, go into spectate mode and watch <name of really good spy>, <name of really good spy>, or dan play spy."

Wait, what? Since when I am I a good spy?

Still a crap sniper however. My problem there is that while I would LIKE to get better, I refuse to be the second or third sniper on a team, so as soon as someone else picks the class I feel obligated to switch.

Above the head if they're a bunnyhopping lunatic.

Below the head if they're a crouching lunatic.

When I first played TF2, it was a tie between: Engineer, Sniper, and Medic.
Since they updated classes, I found I'm not a bad Soldier and Scout than I thought I was.

Heavy and Soldier and Scout. I usually stuck with Pyro, Medic, and Spy, but found that when I needed some hieght or power, those classes flowed so well.

Sniper

Though I still have my off days

But I've been known to pull off a close range headshot or two
