Polarity

From FPSb:
Ctf_polarity is a 6-flag ctf map with 3 rounds. the first team to capture the other team's last flag wins. I don't want to hear any comments regarding how the map looks, only gameplay and such, I will focus on the looks later.

Changes from a1:
-Fixed the signs and added more of them
-Fixed the red spawnroom door
-One capture = One round
-The map restars after the final flag has been captured
-The flag rooms areas now close after capturing

Haven't played it yet, but two things:

- Multiple words in the map name generally don't work that well. How about ctf_polarity, for example?

- A sniper update map should not be advantageous to snipers - actually, no map should. It makes them no fun at all.

Yeah, well, I know you haven't, I haven't even finished the first alpha yet.

Ctf_polarity... Why not? In fact, I'll change the name to that right now. Also, you misunderstood me, I didn't mean it'll be advantageous to snipers, I meant that it'll be a map that's fun to play as a sniper.

Oh, right. The line between enjoyable and advantageous is often very thin, though - watch that (although looking at your map design, it doesn't seem like it would be that much of a problem).

I wonder how you're going to pull off the magma/ice thing, as there isn't much building material to go from (although you could potentially use some of the stuff used in cp_glacier) - are you going custom?

I like the idea, ice vs magma. Sounds fun.
I think you should really watch yourself with the sniper thing though. A lot of people get frustrated with too many snipers in a ctf game. They're largely unproductive in capturing the other team's flag, and make more of a stalemate game.
