Can I post an event in the events thread? Or is that just for tf2maps.net events? I regularly hold custom payload playtests, so I'd like to post here so that the mapmakers will know if their map is being tested for possibel use in our rotation. If not in the events thread, where would I post that information?

Anyone can post an event in the forum, but they have to be approved by a moderator before they are visible. So go right ahead, that's the kind of thing we want people posting there

Just want to add, the event needs to include custom maps by helping mappers either play test their maps, or playing their maps as exposure to the tf2 community.

Otherwise it will be considered spam and not approved. (example. 'Event: Come play 2fort in my server')
