Event will begin at:
Central European Summer Time: 6:00PM
UK (British Summer Time): 5:00PM (GMT+1)
Eastern Daylight Time: 12:00PM
Central Daylight Time: 11:00AM (GMT-5)
Mountain Daylight Time: 10:00AM
Pacific Daylight Time: 9:00AM



Map Submission Structure (in this order):
Map Name (ex. ctf_mycoolmap_b2 )
Link to map download
*downloads from TF2maps.net preferred but not required.
Optional: Link to discussion thread.
Optional: Available time + time zone. Use sparingly, only if you're really pressed for time this weekend.

*New*Submission Rules:
*Because of the increased amount of testing, submissions for any given day will be on a first come, first served basis.*
*We will try to limit testing days to 3.5 hours each. The number of entries for a given day is ultimately up to the discretion of the moderator in charge.*
*Assuming a normal amount of activity for the week, different game modes of the same map are only allowed if there is enough time leftover.*
*Multiple maps from the same author are allowed. Just in case we do get too crowded, it's in your best interest to specify which map should have priority.*
*I make no guarantee of getting a decent play-test. This is very much an experiment and transition in making Gameday better for everyone. So suck it up :p*
-Please submit all maps by 4 PM CST, 1 day prior.
-Try to package your map as .bz2. It's not required, but would be a big help.
-The map must be playable. By this I mean working caps & doors, proper clipping etc. The purpose of gameday is to help authors refine their designs, not catch newbie bugs. It's not hard to figure out if your cps are working or not; we have tutorials, a main forum, and the Steam chat.
-The default time for maps will be 30min. If you think that whatever you're trying to test for the map can be figured out in less time, then you probly don't need a play test just yet.
-45min. will available upon request for maps in the final stages.
-Ingame test time will be subject to moderator discretion. If players can critique the whole map in 5min. b/c it's too small/imbalanced/etc., then it's over.

*New* Gameday Structure:
In an effort to accommodate more people and make life easier for the moderators, we're going to be trying a series of mini-test days, spread throughout the week. Hopefully this will also encourage use of the servers for regular playing during the week.

Friday: This is going to be specifically for our members on GMT. We'll be playing on the official TF2M European server in Amsterdam. The event will be Friday night for the Euro base, and mid to late afternoon for U.S. peeps. This event is still limited to 3 or 3.5 hours. If the event is full, you will have to submit for the weekend.
Saturday/Sunday: Late morning and early afternoon, as before.

I've updated it to version: test 1. Which I hope will solve the server crash issue we had last time. :confused: You may want to test it out before gameday on the server to see if it's working.

Available: 12:00PM–12:30PM ( Eastern Daylight Time) This means it would need to be the first map tested. Sorry, I have to go to work that day.

Ah crap... My work schedule has changed so I won't be available to test it with you all. I would greatly appreciate it if you could still run it and make sure it's working. Maybe make it the last map of gameday?

Long story short: too many maps piled up. I dropped matterhorn because we played it today and he has it down for tomorrow too. Dropped strata because youme offered and he's awesome at impromptu server filling and testing anyway.

hey, would we be able to have the two source TV recordings from cp_caldera_alpha5 if you have them? so that we can try and find out what caused the crash.

I actually went and checked them myself to do that. Unfortunately they aren't any help because they stop about 20-30 seconds before the crash from corrupted/missing structure data. The server logs weren't any help either.

ah bugger. thanks for checking though. does anyone have any ideas what could have caused the crash?
