Unable to Open Site

For the past 2 days i have been completely unable to get into this site, excluding after 10pm...

I get that, "the forum is temporally down, please visit the chat" message, I paraphrased it as i didn't bother to write it down.

And apparently nine has also been unable to visit the site all week. So...yeah...no idea whats going on...

ipconfig/flushdns

and

tracert

only works for a while, and then it breaks again.

it happends randomly for me, often I can browse normally (in the forum) and then out of nowhere the next link tells me the site is down... usually works within 2-3 minutes again.

we have had some dns issues a week ago. we still having minor issues here and there with certain ISPs but for the most part, everything should be back to normal.

It just happened to me again.

Needed to flushdns, tracert, and restart computer in order to have it start working again.

Happend to me 3 times this week, ipconfig /flushdns, tracert tf2maps.net didn't work for me, proxy/VPN is the only solution I think.

Started working for me again about 30 minutes ago.

try what Pepper had me do and i've had so many people do in steam chat, all worked 100% of the time.

on XP..

go start>control panel>network connections
*select your line*
right click properties> *Scroll down to "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" then Click Properties.

Now on the next screen scroll down to ""Use the following DNS server addresses"" and add.
Pref: 4.2.2.1
Alt: 4.2.2.2
ok>ok.

^ This is forcing your IP to use a more updated line instead of auto choosing one down the line which hardly updates. Why?

probably should have mentioned...as with any problem ive had with my internet...it always goes away the moment I complain <_<
