I am doing a desert floor, so its all gonna be displaced, and I want it all to sew correctly, so I started to redesign it, and it looks like this

(dont worry, its not 3 brushes, just all ctrl+clicked :p) So would that be fine? If all the vertices dont match, will it be that a big a problem, or should I still redo all my floor of my map and line them up? Also, I have some cliffs that are having troubles. Description in the pic

Thanks for any answers guys, this is a big thing halting me going to alpha:blushing:

Your floor should sew, but your separate cliff brushes wont. The edges have to line up perfectly. But actually, I dont think that's a big deal, as long as the displacements overlap a little if you do it right. This will give the illusion that each section is a different piece of rock.

For your purposes, its ok that you're using solid blocks. IF you were to create the faces, you'd have to miter the corners.

And don't use rockwall_001 -- its ugly. I'd use one of the nicer sandstone textures.

Dont worry, those are all place textures, I too hate the way it makes the walls look. Not very eroded and smooth, just yuck. I didnt think to overlap them, I will try that, thanks :]

EDIT: I have one more question (for now maybe... <.<). I have some cliffs here, in the general shape of some waving cliffs. Should I keep these as walls, or would making them whole blocks, displacing them, and then vertexing them back in this shape be the best?

I just want displacements to be as pain free as possible, and easily editable. Thanks :]!

I think what you have there should be a single block, so you don't get one displacement face that's 16 units high... I generally make all my displacments out of large blocks with multiple displacement faces and it works fine for me.
