It's hiding under a bed very early in the game. and its HL2 Ep2 by the way.

You're... really out of the loop. Everyone knows about the gnome. He's not hard to see under there, and there is even an achievement with him. :|

Yeah, lol, you had to carry the gnome with you all the way to near the end of the game.

well, not the end of the game, exactly. Only until the Silo. Toss him in the rocket with the headcrab and shut the door. The end.

under a bed ??

it was under a bench in a little hut out side where we had to stop while alyx contacted her dad.

the most anoying thing for me was trying to keep the silly thing in the car lol
