TF2 crashes any ideas ????????

hello sort of new too mapping .... was wonder if anyone can help??? The map I'm working on is rather large (almost the size of goldrush) it's 3 stage payload nearing play testing :thumbup1: " I have also tried a compile checker ''' map complies in about 20 minutes game loads than crashes ..no on screen warning IF anyone is interested in helping i could send them the vfm.. was runnin great till i moved two track_paths they were two low

fixed up last couple errors i could find but my map is still crashing still crasing tf2.......Does anyone know if there any way to read the MDMP files tf2 creates when its crashes ????? you can open them with note pad but most of it i dont understand lol

another thing that can cause maps to crash is displacements - sometimes if you cut/resize them you can end up with a case where they look ok, but if anything passes over them (or spawns on them) they crash the game.
try using the cordon tool, and loading up parts of the map seperately, in order to see if it's connected to displacements geometry

generally, for problem-checking, always compile on normal, and compile without vrad and vvis, map crashes are mostly due to problems in the bsp and I/0 system
if the cordon tool doesn´t help, try norrowing the problem by disabling visgroups
i.e. disable displacements, if map doesn´t crash, your problem lies most probably there
