Spikes = Invalid Solid?

Everytime I re-open my map, it randomly removes 1-3 playerclip boxes, beliving it is an invalid solid.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

are you aligning them to grid? or moving them in fractional units?

why make them cone? just make cylinders.

I moved them in the 4units grid.

And drpepper, I made them cylinders first, but it was pretty annoying because you could like walk around on the top of it and stuff next to it.
I want to make it like you can't get up on it, you will just slide down.

Before you close your map check for invalid solids with the error checker. People will still be able to stand on top of the trees as long as they land on the tip. Another problem i see is people may get stuck inbetween your trees if the brushes are too close.

Hammer seems to hate cones -- especially ones made from plaerclip for some reason. It all has to do with inaccuracy in how it saves. Try moving all your verts to the grid, that should help.
