I think I finally got the Idea right. with the sewing together thing
(the video was just a quick example) and IF am doing this the right way im REALLY surprised NO tutorials explain this in their process, Since its kinda important to know,

Manipulate both displacements at the same time and just edge them back and forth until it's rounded.

Face Normal might also help it get done faster, since you can move along an axis that isn't one of the three "square" axes. Rotate a brush to the 45 degree angle that "crosses" (not penetrates) your edge and alt+rightclick on it's face while in Face Normal mode, then use that to adjust.

(if you're doing a lot of displacing, you might find my helper helpful.)

You're displacing a purely rectangular brush. They're difficult to make look good. Instead, vertex manipulate the bottom right edge (the bottom edge of the vertical face) outwards, creating a half-trapezoidal shape. Then grab the top right edge (shared edge of to-be-displaced faces) and move it downwards and inwards. This'll set up the effect you want easier when you begin to displace.
