Also, near red's final point there is a gap big enough to fall through, but there's no similar gap on the blu side that I've noticed. Not a big deal, but it kinda sucks if you're running out and fall. :eek:

Okay, so I was bored trying to fall asleep after the time change last night so I decided to hop on b7 and take an ass ton of screenshots of things that need fixing. Here's the screens (49, I know a lot), and then I'll go back and edit in the comments. :3

That said, these are just the little things I saw! THE ENTIRE THING IS AMAZING and if I took the time to point out all the good parts it would be even longer. :D

Barrier sitting on the boards looks VERY awkward.

This corner is terribly annoying. Make it either a ramp up to a small platform and then a jump up to the spawn or just remove the 2nd level platform entirely.

Clip this rock so it can be walked up easily when approached straight on like this. :3

Terribly annoying corner. Bring the wall in or something, because the way it's clipped now makes that corner an easy death trap should you get stuck there.

That just LOOKs awkward, maybe create some wooden steps out of individual boards?

Fix the clipping on the right side of this little ramp.

The shadows on these rocks are ugly :(

The texture and shape of this particular bridge's bottom is very poor, it just needs to be reshaped.


This whole tunnel is a death trap for anyone trying to get to the health because of the uneven walls... you should put a LOT of effort into fixing the clipping there.

This whole corner is... erm, a little confusing. I think if anything extend the pieces of land towards the corner so they meet and then add a wood/metal ramp and put the health up on the little 2nd tier.

This rock is very weirdly placed, but I DO like the way it looks otherwise.

All the fence pieces are showing through like this.

This little spot just makes me stop and say "huh". Perhaps extend the ground out more?

THIS CORNER! Ugh! Close it up! GET RID OF IT! Demomen will hate you for it, but it's just useless space and also the plant is sticking through there.

Generally your grass is showing through the logs in all of the places where it could. :(

This spot is very annoying. It looks like you *could* get through, so either close the whole corner up or allow people to get around, which is what I would do! :3

This whole area just needs to be close up. Make the ground run all the way into the wall and remove that big nasty invisible player clip.

That lamp needs to be noclip, it's just frustrating.

The spot in particular gives me clipping trouble. The rest of the boards are great!

Take that health AWAY! Bad spot. Make the small health in the alcove a medium instead. :p

Like I said, this corner is bad. the clipping on those piles is horrendous.

Close it up or put something there. I'd say a medium ammo and a barrel or something. :3

That NEEDS to be remove so that demos can't easily get stickies on that spawn door, etc

This pile should be made very easy to get onto if it's going to work right there, it's the first one most people will have to go up.

Make it easier for scouts to jump up to this area if you can... :D

This needs to either be made just like Red's with a low overhang or make Red's easier to get into like this. I'd say the latter.

Close the corners!

Awkward to climb log again.

You can fall off of blu's platform up here... it's a bit annoying. Just close it up.

Once more, I recommend changing this corner entirely.

Ewww that shadow is bad.

PLEASE find a way to make this little path wider. If it's not easy to approach it will be a major spamfest all of the 2nd/4th and frankly this SHOULD be the best way to attack with uber.

Make the edge as flush as you can and clip it ^^

This crate is badly placed. Make it something taller that you can hide behind like the tires on Red side. :D

Remove this health.

and this health. and then put another health on the cross piece I referenced earlier as having a bad texture on the bottom.

Floating hay. Also hay looks a little strange being there. Maybe choose something else to take up that spot. Steel barrels might work, or any other prop you think fits.

This is a picture from last beta, but it is still an issue. The boundary between the two textures looks very strange.

A lot of nice stuff to work on for the general flow of the gameplay in b8 :)

I assume that picture is from a previous version where the skybox was directly connected to the map, and he has very low settings so he can run the game which disable the skybox.

It could work, although I can't make any decent judgment without seeing it in game. A big advantage of that it is people on the point are partially protected from those above.

Doing it to finals would make it near impossible to remove the enemy from your CP... seeing as you spawn above them with a good 5 second walk to the drop... right?

On middle, though, it's a VERY good idea I think because it discourages Demo spam, soldier jump salvos, etc which can devastate a whole team. That change would also make medics happy with the cover to use and scouts happy with an easier way to jump up and into the enemy's upper area. It would make for a very interesting and above all DIFFERENT middle CP game. :3

Perhaps it's me... but in the second picture, the cliffs on the right look a little repetitive. Maybe you could make the cliff more bumpy so you don't notice it as well? :)
