No, I haven't abandoned all hope for CP_Platform_1. I'm just taking a break before making the final version.

This half-month creation is the result of a bout of inspiration that morphed into a far less impressive looking map. Still, I am quite fond of it.

Distinguishing features:
- Occasionally cramped gameplay with frequent separation by walls and fences
- More Engineer-friendly spots than you can shake a stick at
- More Spy-friendly spots than you can shake a--
- Two dining/rooming cabins with SECRET BASEMENT
- No excuses for spawn camping! The spawnroom doors are in places unimportant for carrying intelligence.
- Fire towers that will make Snipers happy and yet vulnerable at the same time. No health or quick retreats up there. However, firepoles make for a fun escape from that area.
- Secret basements are observational chambers for bioengineering projects (Dorrie and Phydo)
- HDR! I finally made it look decent.

Great usage of the alpine environment! Looks interesting, I may try it with a friend later.

(Geez, does anybody make desert maps anymore?)

Heh, the desert environment just didn't fit with my original "trip to the woods" concept.
