So do you got them? How many? How? Wich ones were the hardest?Funniest?

I got 23 avhievements now, and they're pretty fun. I like them the most of all the updates. Because the weapons are quite fun and u don't need like all of them to unlock the weapons:)

So, a friend of my brother was coming to visit him and said he already had them. And i asked how and he used bots. I tougth that couldn't because cheats had to be on. But he did "sv_cheats 0" after the bots and then "retry" the server. Pretty handy tough.

That is how i get to the 20, other 4 were with friends:rolleyes:

That moonshot i got with an accident. I was just taunting in a place with a lot of bots and shot somebody in the air. I laughed so hard:p It's just so cool. I like the one where you need to dodge damage also. Running around a sentry

So erm, please post what u think!

Got 22 in about one hour using bots, no joke. Getting the arena ones, especially first blood part 2 is harder than it looks :(

So I was having trouble sleeping, and decided to load up TF2 and actually take a look at these. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but the "Race for the Pennant" achievement doesn't seem to be registering at all. I've run around a crapton, enough to capture 25 flags and double jump 1000 times. Yet for some reason it thinks I've only run 15 meters. Any clue what I'm doing wrong?

No, the running is definitely normal running. One meter is a long step, so it's hard to see why it increases so slowly... I also get something like 15 meters per life. Grim might be onto something, though.

I've only gotten 8 so far, most of which are legit, some of which were done on my own. I'm going to try getting as many achievements as I can with bots today, but I can't imagine how I'd do that in arena. After you retry, you just sit there while you wait for the bots to finish the current match - which they don't, obviously.

Create a server with arena_watchtower, add 1 bot. Retry and it should work. Since you can start a match with 2 players.
And if there are even bots, type"kick bot#". Then u are able to join. Or something like mp_restartround.

I guess that's one of the reasons why you got so little advancement with that achievement. Time airborne doesn't count as running.

I made a quick test. It doesn't matter which weapon is equipped. I started from the spawn in 2Fort, dropped down from the battlement, ran across the bridge and suicided at the entrance of the other base. Always gave me around +13, regardless of the weapon equipped.

In case someone wants to know how far the enemy has to be away to achieve "Moon Shot": It's around the distance from battlement to battlement on 2Fort.

i run quite a few meters today, but still at 0/25000 :|
I ran enough to do the CTF and the CP achievments and i'm quite sure i ran almost always with the baseball bat.

It wasn't. I tried it without the double jumping either. Still ran considerable distances without it even increasing by one.

I'm up to 289 now, but I seriously have no clue what actually makes it tick up. One meter should be approximately 40 units across (assuming one unit = one inch as usual), which is half the size of a small doorway. I should not have to take more than a few steps to see it tick up one. But so far it never has while I've actually checked the numbers after running a few steps, across a room, or across a map.

The thing is that the advancement just gets saved when you die. I'm not sure about this, but I think if you start a map, run around the whole time without dying once and then disconnect, your progress won't be saved. It's the distance of your previous life that matters. Try to run around a bit and then suicide, you'll see the progress you made added to the achievement tracker.

Only valve maps?
Afaik, it works in custom maps as well. I got progress for it on Frontier and Mach4.

Does the taunt kill of the scout take longer than the ones of the heavy/pyro? He takes his sweet time while pointing to the sky and swinging the bat. And the ragdoll really has to fly at least 25 meters for the achievement. I taunt killed a sniper in Steel, in the sniping room at A. Smacked him right in the head but his ragdoll obviously couldn't fly this far. Wasn't enough for the achievement. :(

It's a different taunt+ it takes much longer+ you can stun people+ you can kill people.
