I am making a military training base map, and I am trying to create pop up soldier/sniper cutouts, Could I animate a wall to do this, or I was thinking make a door that opens up with it on it

you could use a brush that has nodraw or is very thin with the cutouts on it, than ty it to a func_door, and make it go open n stuff with the triggers.

I dont see why this could be fun on the other side for tf2 :S

thats what I am going to do I think, and for the 2nd part I am making a sniper tower and I just thought it would be cool if once in awhile a "fake" sniper popped up or around a corner

nevermind I don't know if this will even work because for some reason the cut outs of the classes show right through all the walls/ground

could always use a entity?

prop_dynamic using the sniper.mdl model then parent it to a nodraw (non rendered) which moves like a door?
