Suggestion regarding post size

Right now the posts are larger than they need to be; especially is a user has recieved an award. This results in long threads with little content where you have to scroll alot.

The posts can be reduced like this:
  • The awards are moved above the avatar with a smaller icon.
  • The join date and other statistics have been grouped together
  • Hoe many times you have been thanked in some amount of posts is removed
  • The bar in the bottom have been merged with the main post, moving the quote buttons and the report button
  • The thanks button is changed to better fit the forum theme
  • Remove the orange bar between posts (Not seen in the image)

This reduces Nineaxis' post from 529 pixels to 276 pixels.
That's about 50% smaller than before.

Another suggestion I have is to allow more posts per page.
10 posts per page is very little. It would be more convinient to have more posts on one page, so you don't have to load the next page.
I suggest increasing it to 20 or 30 posts.

Looks better than the current one, but the thanks button on the current looks better IMO.

The thanks button change was just a little test :)
It's the post size that matters.

drpepper; I am thinking about the main forum theme :)

Not to be a downer on the situation, but I can't post more than 10000 characters per post...I don't post that much, but there's been a handful of times when I would have liked to not split my post up into 2 or 3 posts. I can live with it I suppose.

10,000 characters is a lot!
for this example say you write words that each are 10 characters long.
even with this exaggeration, that's still 1,000 words!
