21st January 2009 - ALPHA 1 OUT
First Release
22nd January 2009 - ALPHA 2 OUT
Added one sidded door next to RED spawn.
Added time given after captures.
Increased time from 3 mins to 5 mins.
Shortened setup from 45 to 30 secs.
Added ramp for BLU to get onto RED's ledge.
30th January 2009 - ALPHA 3 OUT
Many changes, textured some of Cap A
Added cover at BLU spawn.
Basic Detailing.
N/A - ALPHA 4 NOT OUT (Not availible)
Toyed with single stage Pl, didn't work.
15th February 2009 - ALPHA 5 OUT
Fully textured.
Added detail to most of map.
No more cap c!

EVEN harder for red to spawncamp.
Completely redone BLU spawn.
19th February 2009 - BETA 1 OUT
-Removed ammo from BLU spawn.
-Changed Sml Health to medium at BLU spawn.
-Added kill trigger at explosion.
-Fix'd BLU healthlocker.
-Disables CP3's model after captured.
-Changed sky to Badlands
-Removed ugly shadows underneath tracks.
-Added playerclip next to BLU spawn (Void got stuck :p)
-Playerclip'd the bomb-cart model without a colision model.
-Fix'd bad tunnel.
-Fix'd floating building.
-Fix'd model texture in BLU spawn.

As mentioned in test (and demonstrated), too easy to spawn camp, and I'd suspect more than 12 people would be very crowded.

That said, can you make me some grafix? :)

Bad news.

I'm talking to you from an Ubuntu 8.04 machine because my Windows Vista installation is no more. I backed everything up and it should be up to date. I'm downloading the Windows 7 Beta DVD now so I should be on Steam soon but you can never be sure.

I was hoping to get Alpha 3 out this weekend for some testing on GRIM's server, but it looks like it'll either be late this week (Wed-Thurs-Friday) or next weekend. If I'm not on Steam 'till then, I'm not dead...just resting. :p

EDIT: I'm back! I'll take today off from mapping and I'll be back with Alpha 3 this comming week.

This looks pretty good, I hadn't even noticed it before. One thing I noticed, was a staircase in your second screenshot. It looks very steep, like the steps are just as high as they are long.

I uploaded the latest to my server (sig for ip), but it seems like maybe you forgot to pakrat?

I put this on the EU TF2maps server, despite one big problem: Most of the indoors areas are insanely dark. You really really need to get some lights in there!

The letters on the sign Grim posted a screen of are still not pakratted. Also, this map could use some indication of where you have to stand to cap on the first two points.

When I jumped into the pit after it blew up, I fell through and landed outside the map.

They STILL aren't Pakrat'd in? What did you download? _a5 or _b1? I'll add some indicators in _b2.

I've never had that last problem in any test I've been in, if you can recreate it, could you post screenshots?

I was able to climb this far up, so it seems natural to be able to go up on that roof...but I can't.


See what I mean by the map being dark? Also, note the staircase - it looks like the steps are as tall as they are long, which is bad. Speaking of stairs, you should put playerclips on all of them.


Going up this staircase, I got stuck on the displacement.


I bumped into the underside of this bridge when going under it, even though it looks like I shouldn't.
