quadcores usally get that hot when sued for 100%
Also AMD's dual/quadcores operate at higher temps (~60 stressed)

yea it is a amd athlon x2 @ 3.8 ghz

with this cooler

but do people get lower temps?

I run a zalman on mine, but I havent bothered to check my temp since my chip is soo underclocked im not really worried about it.

at 100% my dual core amd 2.0ghz sits about 30 degrees, and system temp is about 35.

3.8ghz seems kinda high, have you OC'd?
