Bogus Leaks

I've been working on my own version of turbine by modifying it to start getting more of a handle mapping. It's been going fine when all of a sudden hammer starts generating several leaks through solid brushes. This is happening even in areas when I haven't even done any modification, just out of the blue various props in properly sealed sections of the map start leaking. Note that hammer has had no problem rendering these areas without leaks in previous map tests, why all of a sudden now?

I've seemed to fix the leaks but now hammer crashes when the compilation stage reaches the portal section of the render.

It does not crash. The UI just stops responding while the compilation runs. It's a known bug in hammer. If it bothers you, use an alternative compile runner application.

Hammer disappears from task manager and keep in mind the problems spontaneously started all of a sudden, in places where area portals weren't even present.

This is a screen cap of where the finalization freezes up. Normaly it would be past this point by now but its at this point that the map will no longer render past this point.
