What's that noise?
Could it be...?
Yes!
It's time for the annual New Year's Resolutions thread!

Same procedure as usual this year. If you have any New Year's Resolutions, drop them here! Then, come next year, we can look back and see if you met any of them!

Only a few people left resolutions last year, so let's see if we can bump that number up this year!

If you'd like to look at the resolutions of yesteryear,
head over to the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 threads!

Putting my resolutions in a separate post so it keeps the OP clean. I'm also giving myself a large list because these are all things I've wanted to get done for awhile.

- Start HRT
- Finally go down a shirt size (I've said this every year since 2015, and damn it! This is the year I finally do it!)
- Make a full detail map (the background maps were just warm-ups!)
- Make more progress on (if not entirely finish) the KH fanfic I started in November
- Get a job?
- Download Blender and make some models!
- Clean out my computer and USB. Too many useless files!
- Post some mapping projects to Artstation
- Made a few CD copies of my mixtapes

I want to better understand human courage - probably through the means of reading some memoirs.

In 2020 I read some memoirs of folks I would absolutely consider to be courageous, but I want to read more. (They are stress inducing to read, but I feel like a stronger person on the other side).

Looking back, it seems I've managed to finish all but two of the past resolutions I've posted in the old threads, even if they were years late or slightly different in execution that I expected. The remaining two are from 2017, so I might as well keep going with them!
  • Exercise more
  • Get a map to RC1

Looking back on my 2017 ones, I did achieve quite a bit!

- I graduated from university
- I'm in a very good shape physically now
- I sleep more
- I gave up on Youtube as I should have :p
- I stopped streaming as well

Aside from that, for this year I'd love to:

- Get a promotion at work
- Get my own portfolio website off the ground
- Finish a map for once (preferably, avalanche)
- Learn to play some songs on the guitar
- Finish a musical project
- Draw more again

Bumping the thread to welcome us into 2021!

If you have some resolutions you want to add to this thread, it's not too late!
