Flickering Overlays and Flickering Diagonal Textures in Hammer's 3D viewport

For the past few days, any and all overlays, on both displacements and brushes, have started flashing white, looking kind of like this (or worse):

This didn't use to happen at all, so I ask, how can I fix it?

Another problem, although I don't have a screenshot, is of textures flickering between normal and being what I can only describe "smaller and diagonal" as I move the camera around. Again, this has only started happening recently.

Help please :(

Both issues are usually fixed by going to Textured view instead of Shaded Textured in the top left camera menu of the 3D viewport. The first issue is just an issue overlays can have in 3d Shaded Textured, while the second issue is caused by using materials that have $basetexturetransform in the VMTs (you don't really have to understand what that means, just know that some materials like the gridded glass rotate and scale the base texture that they use, and in shaded texture view that rotation and scaling is applied to everything if the material is visible in the viewport)
