Updated a lot of stuff, hopefully for the better ;) If you get an error when extracting, just ignore it. http://forums.tf2maps.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=930

Changelog;
Alpha 2
-Fixed numerous clipping issues; walk through walls, getting stuck on the tracks, etc.
-Optimized the rocks and trees. They are now solid and block bullets. Players w/ lower-end computers should notice a significant gain in fps, especially underwater.
-Decreased the amount of water in area1 by 50%.
-Enlarged area2 and adjusted the tunnel connecting area1 and 2. Ditto for area3.
-Decreased the brightness of environmental light while adding individual ambient light sources.
-The waterfall is now thinner and faster.
-added a readme w/ proper credits
-temporarily removed the 3d skybox

Oh snap! I love the cargo box half submerged. Nice use of water too, that is something severely lacking in maps these days.

Any servers running it yet?

Looking good D. I'll have to run through it and see how FPS is now, which was my major beef.

I'm just staring at the 6th picture from the top (with the crane and logs).. looking at the building and thinking "What kind of planks is that wall made of? that tree must have been HUGE!"

LOL. Thank you for pointing that out, I didn't even realize it.

Keep getting a "file is broken" error when trying to decompress your file.

Looking good!

I might suggest that you use more light_spots instead of the old regular light.

If you look at valve maps, 99% of their lighting is done through light_spots. the regular lights are usually reserved for ambient.

I'm actually using a combination of point_spotlight and normal light. I find that light_spot simply doesn't have enough illumination unless it's a weird color.

you can always increase the angle of the spotlights to illuminate a wider area if necessary.

Your map shouldn't have any leaks, so the unlit portions will still receive bounced light. Using the normal light produces unnatural lighting as seen in screenshots 1, 4 , and in the back of 11.

Just ignore that. I have no idea why my compression gives that error, but it works fine.

Actually, no it doesn't. The file is corrupted, and will not load in TF2. I've tried re-downloading it three times now, and used two different programs to decompress it, and still get the errors.

Perhaps you need to use a different program to compress it, and/or compress it in a different format.
