Upload a map to SFM workshop

I finished a small scene map to be used in sfm. I already have the map in my sfm and it works fine, but when I try to submit it to the workshop it gives me a error message that says cannot upload a copy from another game. I try recompile it and decompiled as well but no luck. Anyone can help? Thanks.

My guess is that it depends on how you made it and how you are trying to submit it. TF2 maps have to be submitted inside the game itself to go to the TF2 workshop. SFM has it's own workshop and it's own version of hammer so I imagine you'd have to submit something made with that through SFM itself. That May be the issue if you made a map with the editor for one game and are trying to submit it to the workshop for the other. Or I could just not know what I'm talking about.

Yes, you are correct on that. After I posted this thread I searched around and found out that SFM has it own Hammer that found out. Now I may have to build the map again which is no big problem since it only took me about 3-4 hours to make. Thanks for your help.

I'm having a hard time to where to place the vmf file from the tf2 hammer to the sfm hammer. Do you know where it supposes to go?
