Dustbowl: your opinion, hand it over

Hi everyone! For the past while, I've sadistically tortured myself by playing as much cp_dustbowl as I can for the purpose of getting data which we don't currently have. I've learned a lot of strats on this map and something odd about asym balance. I'm 75 rounds in and going to 100 before I share the numbers here.

Okay so what's the point of this post? Dustbowl is a map you probably have a strong opinion on, right? I want you to share it! How often do you think Blu wins the map, and what do you think causes that win rate?

Dustbowl wasn't made for tf2, it was made for team fortress classic. That's probably the main reason why it isn't that great.

Okay but real opinion: playing it for like 15 minutes per stage is not very fun. There's some fun dumb strategies that come from the bad design (at least for modern day tf2) like camping in the seconds stage tunnels, backcapping, that one hallway that closes on 3rd stage etc. but that's about it.

Detail wise most of the map is nothing special. Notable highlights for detailing are most of 3rd stage and the rocket always standing tall in the skybox.

I like its pickup placement, difficulty progression over the three stages, and the first blue spawn and starting area. Very pretty looking map. Everything else sucks tho

What do you believe that difficulty progression looks like?
