Hey.
I'm Lazer B., I started mapping in Hammer a couple months ago, and I've been 3d modeling for 2 and a half years. My favourite serious maps are the ones Valve put out along with pl_cashworks, cp_redstone and orange_x. In non-serious maps, I like surf maps. :blink: My favourite classes are Spy, Pyro, Demoman, and Sniper. (Though I suck with sniper.) I came here looking for help on how to make my maps look more "professional," because right now I have a dark lit WIP.

Lighting is indeed one of the hardest parts of mapping to get right since there is no one-size-fits-all solution, but we have links to llighting stuff in the link in my sig and on the front page is a link to the steam group chat room which is always active - people in there will be willing to critique screenshots making fine tuning stuff much easier.

Yeah, I don't know where I can post models here, especially because they aren't textured, so I wouldn't be able to use them in TF2.
