Unable change size of overlays

After reinstalling windows (And everything with it), im unable to change size of overlays. For an example when I put patch overlay under pickups and try to make it smaller, it freaks out and 2/3 of the patch disappear. This never happened to my so I dont know how to fix it.

Did you place the overlay on ONE surface?

An overlay cannot be on multiple brushes at once.

Yes its on the same brush

If I try to make it larger, the size stays the same

Overlays can be on multiple brushes at once. But you may have to manually set them in hammer.

All of the overlays are on the same brush, that is not the problem, the problem is with resizing

You can also change the size by changing the "U Start", "U End", "V Start", and "V End" keyvalues of the overlay (0 and 1 are the default that you'd want, but if you want an overlay to start or end somewhere other than usual, including repeating, you can mess with those), but I'd usually just go with the texture lock solution
