A small guide on hazard stripes which nobody asked for

Hazard stripes convey more meaning than just "there's a hazard" they also signify a safe direction; they should not be used on the floor and instead a solid yellow line (but that's probably less important than the directionality). The times I have seen hazards it's 50-50 whether it is right or not so I thought I'd make this.

When confronted with hazard stripes you should pass on the side where the lines point downwards.

First set show hazards on their own and correct direction to take.
Second set show hazards on corners. (Screenshot of it in action), don't use the second one (red background)
Third set show hazards for objects, although I'm not aware of the last image existing irl but if you are adding shutter doors which open in the middle then the middle should look like that. (Added example of the last 2 in the same door in an imgur album)

Huh, never knew there was a standard

Useful info, even if I'll probably still just align them however is Easiest lol

Important to note tho that, more often than not, hazard strips are used to signify the control point zone, and that visual language is pretty established.
Would you have any tips on the best method to do that "correctly" or at least "less wrong"?

If it was IRL a solid orange stripe or dashed white line would be used, equally a 45 degree yellow grid across the whole capture area could work.

But then again hazard stripes on the floor lose meaning so used in those situations would be fine

Well done!

I agree with number 8 above - because of those lines - map is totally un-playable :p

Anf for number 7, if you're coming to the corner from the left you have to pass corner on the right and vise versa the other way - it's how you keep from bumping into cloaked spies who want to stab you in the back :)
