Thanks to everyone on here who played it on the 1-3-09 gameday, your feedback is much appreciated!

Now to open this WiP thread, the list of changes.

The size of the map felt right on gameday, just remember to add in those health and ammopacks!

Maybe The last/first areas are a little cramped as it is now. the cap is just a step away from the spawnroom and there is a huge wall for offence to gather by before performing a quite easy victory (just speculating).

I also have this feeling the routes are to thight... atleast that there are too many narrow alleys. Some classes absolutely dominate such environment while others suffer horribly.

Keep it up.

I don't have any screenshots, but I've added some med ammo and health packs to the second floor, and will be adding more later. I've also widened the back alley to The Square, and have been working on making the map look bigger (playable area same size).

I'm trying to get this all fixed up for the next gameday.

A glass window inside a spawn room that gives a view over a desk with an intel briefcase on it would be a very nice touch.

Well, it's not a desk, but each spawn has a small room with cpus and carts each with an intel case on it.

No, no, not those doors. Non-accessible doors that lead to the detail room. Currently, it looks like the only way of getting into that room is by removing the glass and stepping inside lol.

Do I have to get out paint and circle that big door that says "Private" and leads to the detail room? :p

Ah, now I see what you mean. The camera angle makes it look confusing, but now I realize that the wall extends to include the door (which it didn't look like originally lol).

Considering that you have to package at least one 512 x 512 texture into the BSP then I don't see the point in making something so simple into a model.

This used existing textures, just two new vmts.

I'll put the detail brushes back in, if you gib on the model it doesn't take the blood decals (like any model) which looks too weird.

I liked what we could play of arena_Lighthouse BTW.

Lol, if the person has a large waistband and really skinny legs then they could be pants.
Perhaps having some type of brush that looks like it wraps around the curtain on both sides as if pulling them apart would make it look better. ;)

You mean like a strap to hold them open? Maybe in the next release, I don't know if many will even like the curtains so it's just a trial right now.
