Make sure the func_respawnroomvisualizer has an associated respawn room. So you would name the respawnroom trigger (ex: red_respawn) and then under the properties of the respawnroomvisualizer, the Associated Respawn Room should be red_respawn

I had already done that, but I realized I had associated it with just "spawn" instead of what the trigger was actually called, "respawn." I hate myself.

Don't beat yourself up, we're all stupid sometimes. I once spent an hour trying to figure out why TF2 kept failing to update before realizing I needed to close Hammer for the update to work.

I've done that about twice, and despite the fact that I figured out the solution the first time, I still spent way too much time trying to solve the problem the second time.

I'm having the same issue as the original poster, but I just cannot seem to fix the issue. I've tried everything mentioned above but nothing has fixed it so far. It's the blu side that shows for it's own team. Another thing to note is that there isn't even collision for the enemy team at all. Red can walk through it, but they're stopped by the door itself. Not sure what to do about it. :/

Try using a respawn room prefab instead and use those brushes. Sometimes the best thing to do is remake a brush.

I found the issue anyways, no worries. It was that I'd named my door triggers the same name as my smawnroom trigger. Once I undid that, it was working fine.
