Was doing a subdivide on a new model, had to force quit it since it was taking forever and poof TF2 and all related files have gone the way of the dinosaur!

Now doing a reinstall and will have to relocate all custom textures :(

Fortunately all vmf files are in a different location.

hAMMER.EXE has stopped working

But in all seriousness, this shouldn't happen, even in a worst case scenario.

Yep, I know it shouldn't happen and my comp has been acting up since I migrated from old box to new and one hard drive to the next. Getting lock ups and seems like it might be the SSD hard drive, or communicating with the SSD hard drive - when they happen the hard drive in use light is 'hd in use' indicator. Have installed a 2nd fan in the box in case it's heat related seems to have helped (lessen it). The weird thing is, I did a reinstall of TF2 and low and behold - all my files are there in the same sequence. So I'm scratching my head on this one.o_O
