From the looks of your pictures, your map is currently in fullbright, that means you either may have not added lights to your map or your map currently has a leak. as for water, do know that all water brushes, wither they be big or small, must have the same height.

You might want to try and fix these issues before posting to any tests because leaking maps and fullbright maps have the possibility of breaking TF2's lighting engine for other maps

ah its just really bright, dont know why its bright, but there is shadows. the water though, i dont know, all i have is one plane of water

Weird, well perhaps its bright due to the amount of shading around Merc park? either way if all that checks out looks like you're all good to go, my apologies for bothering you.

the water is just really buggy, it rendered once, then never came back. rip water 2019-2019
