hi, im having a weird issue: the water in my level kinda creates a very small gap on the brushes next to it.
i dont have a leak
whats causing this and is there a fix?

That's what water does in TF2 when you put it near a vertical wall. It's the dynamic wave pattern that causes this since it "drops" below the wall, but since there's actually no water there to the render engine it just causes it to look like there's gaps in the water.
First thing I'd recommend is lowering the water by a few units. Anyway, most water will create that effect when it's touching a brush. I've encountered this problem before, there are two fixes that I know of. One is to replace whatever water material that is with cheap hydro water, it won't produce that effect. The second is to replace the sections of brushwork that the water touches with displacements.
