map error when opening, hammer crashes

out of nowhere, when i try to open a certain map file, it stops at 5% and it says:

"Out of memory loading solid"

after that it says (file directory), line 35324: error 7

after i hit "ok", hammer crashes and nothing happens

i have already tried:

1-verifying game cache

2-going into the vmx file, finding the line and deleting the object

and i had no success so far. Any help is appreciated.

Are you going into the VMF or the VMX? The VMF is the main file you'll be loading, VMX being a backup of sorts

i was using the vmx, if i do it instead in the vmf, should it work?
