ok im trying to make a bridge rotate the Y axis.
(this is the bridge...)

so here are my settings:

func_door_rotating

flags:
Y axis

blue dot thingy:
doorfuncqj1.jpg

the rest shouldn't matter should it ?
well. the problem is that it rotates the X axis instead of Y, no idea why because i set it to rotate the Y.

any thoughts ?

In this situation I would prefer a func_tracktrain instead of a func_door_rotating, because it is much more flexible. I know that func_door_rotatings ARE working in TF2, but they seem to do whatever they want from time to time, especially when using the y-axis ;)

I don't see how a func_tracktrain would work for this, nor have I used func_door_rotating enough to find out if or how they are broken, but a momentary_rot_button could be used. I know it works in all three axes and can do pretty much everything an f_d_r can.

ohh. have to try that. also im having another issue with my map. ccrenderablelist group7. it happens whenever i stand at the end of each side... and looking out over all objects. im trying to fix this with making it smaller but still. its there, i need a meter or two more smaller and it should be gone but if i do that i fuck up the whole map llol...

edit: actually the problem is gone now when i rendered with VIS and RAD... weird cos it was there before. anyways, now its fixed :p
