Crazy map ideas you have? (Or thought of before.)

(Yes I know I said that I would never come back here, but lets ignore me being a hypocrite for now. :^) )

I've had an interesting map design for an arena mode style map. The control point is located in RED territory, where RED has to defend it, and BLU has to attack/break through their defense and either kill all of RED, or cap the point. Now RED could start capping, but they cap at a much slower rate than BLU. (This slow capping is mostly to get BLU to come out of hiding if there's someone trying to stall the round.)

And to add more to this weird design, add some boost pads to fly all over the place. I believe this will make arena mode more fast paced, and more intense. Which means some team communication will need to be involve to succeed.

Just my weird idea, what's yours?

Mine is to rebuild the map "Five" from call of duty BO. I've already don e the boardroom. I'll be uploading the hammer file the board room soon. :)

A 4CP push map where "mid" is a portal through time. RED's side takes place in 197X, and BLU's side takes place in 21XX. Both bases have identical layouts, but BLU's side is falling apart from years of abandonment, leading to new paths and obstructions.

Everything. Literally everything.

Was gonna try and make this for the April Fools contest, but realized that the variable I needed, host_timescale, wouldn't reset between rounds or after a map change. I could reset it at the start or end of a round, but if the server changed maps mid-round, such as by rtv, the game would still be running fast on the new map, and the timescale would need to be reset manually.

Double payload, which I did try to do but needs a better map design for it but basically, just to carts going to 2 different or same destination. It could as work with the intel :0

I did at one time plan on making a nice normal map, except every prop explodes upon being shot at.

But I'm too lazy to do so. :^(

Mmm, dammit.

Well I did also had this one map idea called arena_edgy, and like the name suggest, it will have edgy edges, and edgy humor. But I never could upload it here, even if I do try to do it.

Has that been taken too?
