Also the barrels doesnt fit in there. Color and context wise.

The lighting on thevents also looks a bit too sharp in my opinion. Well vertex lighting can look strange if you are unlucky, you could try making the light angels of your light_spots wider so the vents have smoother lighting.

Actually the best way to fix this is to just put some regular lights under the light_spots to cast some light onto the roof (which should fix that). Also I compiled in HDR, which caused those to make the lighting even sharper.
EDIT: Removed and Replaced some of the barrels with benches.

My latest progress with rendering pl_upward in python, displacements!

Not sure what to work on next: selecting faces in 3D, webGL (browser scripts), props, textures, lightmaps, nasty t-junctions, or loading compressed maps

if you think about it, since most modern games are made with just a collection of models put together, aren't all AAA games prop spam?

Because prop spam generally means cluttered and overly full of props, visually displeasing, not just "made with props."

good point, i agree! i must have just misunderstood what it meant.

i have been working on my minecraft mod and i added 3 new biomes. left is the fae biome. in the far distant is the tall forest biome which is not new. on the right is the very rare, Crag biome. and and the bottom is the very flat meadows biome

Usually it's Hammer-based, but oftentimes it's not. I've pushed non-Hammer things in here as well.

You mean your light_environment entity or your env_sun entity? I assume you mean light_environment. You can use entity report to find it.
