Cliffs are cool, they tower above the map gracefully, making the map instantly have great detail, but, if you make them the wrong way, you might see the compile time skyrocket from 15 minutes to 5 hours if you have a somewhat average computer. First things first though, dont make a cliff with a bunch of brushes, they look good, but they boost your compile time. wrong forum, and that's not how you do cliffs.... at all...
It's not even the engine tf2 is using.

You will always use displacements for cliffs. They are a lot cheaper than brushes and can be edited much more conviently.

Oh man, did you seriously make cliffs out of a shit ton of brushes in tf2?? :confused: oh boy!

Did you really just write "don't make a cliff out of brushes", link to somebody else's tutorial, and call this a guide...?
