What do people prefer in a map: A main building with some outdoor sections surrounding it, or a generally outdoor area with some smaller indoor sections splitting it up, or something else? Your answers could be based on gameplay, if you prefer the aesthetics or if you prefer making them. Which one? I don't care! Put your answers in the poll!

For anyone who might be asking, I just want to know this for knowledge on what people like and dislike about a map

I think that it doesn't matter how you split it up as long as the indoor areas give enough space for the jumping classes and it doesn't feel to cramped. So don't look at the indoor/outdoor ratio and instead make sure all areas a fun to play for all classes.

Outside only can be very hard to sustain cover while still remaining natural yet inside often suffers cramped spaces and irritating light glare issues (I personally suffer this problem constantly). I'm just interested in how people like their maps and environmental changes

If it's a symmetrical map, there needs to be at least some outdoor parts to show where one team's base ends and the other begins. Payload maps tend to be mostly outdoors because it's harder to explain why there would be minecart tracks inside a building. I always prefer to let the fiction inform the layout because there are nearly infinite ways you can combine set pieces and it helps to be able to narrow it down right at the beginning.
