New map idea, unsure on plausibility

The map I am planning consists of a large above ground Blu base and multiple underground Red bases, the objective of the map is for Blu to capture points in each of the Red bases whilst Red has to capture Blu intel X number of times, the problem is would this be possible?

Personally, I believe many of the current maps which're played around TF2 servers are all far too similar, repetative even. The plan is to make the map unique and give the players on it a fresh experience compared to other, more regularly used map types.

No screenies of what's currently made due to it being far too early in creation and, chances are, will change radically over time. Thanks for reading.

Currently the TF2 entities are extremely picky and gametypes are incredibly hard to merge without either breaking the hud or scoring system. A thing that TFC mappers are incredibly frustrated over as gametype possibilities were virtually limitless "back in the day".

It would be hard to predict this outcome.. Shmitz and a few others worked on a collaboration of a TC/CTF that seemed to work as far as i was aware. But as far as an official fully working game mode goes Steel is the closest we can get to a more interesting scenario.

Gotcha, s'pose the best thing to do is to make a test map and see what happens, will quickly make it up and report back soon. Thanks for the reply :)

Edit: After extensive testing then remaking the map several times over, looks like it'll work. Expect a post in the WIP board in the next few days :woot:
