I'm pretty new here as you can probably tell. Basically I have finished making my first map (Ctf_Train cross) and I think its pretty good for my first map. The problem is that I don't know how to create a server that other people can join. My friends for example- I've talked to a few of my friends about my map and its progress but I have nothing to show them because I don't know how to create a join-able server (I cant show them it on the workshop because I haven't uploaded it yet.) Any help?

You could upload the maps onto the TF2Maps servers, which host daily impromptus to test various maps. Simply pop in, fill out the !add command (typing it by itself would give the format) and bam! your map should be in the queue to be tested.
The imps are usually populated and everyone who plays on your map there can leave feedback which can be seen here that tells you what you can do to improve your map.
