Im Kirk. Been Playing TFC for about oh. idk. 6-7 years. Favorite maps are Cashbah, Badlands, Rock2, and Warpath. I usually play Engineer or I just click Random.

I am looking to edit some already made maps until i figure out what I am doing then I am going to start making some. I don't know which program I will need to do the mapping with.

Editing an already made map is probably not the best way to start learning. You will probably find yourself overwhelmed by all the geometry and entities already in place.
I would suggest finding a beginners tutorial, learn how to make a simple room and slowly progress from there.
