please say you can get on the roof of the train? and perhaps 2 min into the match the train enters a tunnel, and sweeps everyone off the roof!

Yes and no! There's no tunnel, but there are occasional posts with overhanging boards like on cartoons that you'll have to duck under.

Haven't played it yet but it seems like a really cool idea, with the train moving slower you could add an outside the train map that loops itself or a one big huge one (that would be reeeealy hard.) Events like the tunnel earlier would be cool as well possibly making the train split or lose cars as the time passes. I'm spitting out ideas at this point though.

now I must make ctf_claustrophobia. Or tc_broom-closet, where every area is fought over a different cleaning implement in a room 1000 hu squared. Coming to a server near you on april 1st.

Also making a moving skybox, especialy a looping one is harder than you would think, I would know (see mvm_chase) so I am impressed

  • New easy access to roof.
  • Improved "armrest" clipping. The armrests were already nonsolid, but I went ahead and made a fake hitbox for the seats.
  • Redesigned sign obstacle.
  • Improved skybox and aligned textures better.
  • Added rail ties and gravel support mound.

This is a pretty good concept but I'd suggest dueling trains so that the fight isn't just a single long narrow choke of infinitely long sniper sightlines and crushed spy dreams.

Linear design will work perfectly with ctf. Teams will have to work together to get ahead on the train.

Changelog
  • Removed 2 cars to shorten map
  • Redesigned sleeping cars to have 2 floors
