Who said I was hyping myself up?
The whole refrigerator door meme joke (which has been posted like 55 fucking million times already) usually shows that you are expecting something great and kinda unreasonable (why would they release a major update change log without an blog post or webpage for the update?) instead of just waiting patiently. Either that or you're just posting the gif like everyone else did on every single other small update and it's kinda just annoying to see now.

Everyone's a little on edge lately as the Jungle update approaches, nobody needs to be at anyone's throats over their reactions. As for the update itself, it's better this way that these things were shipped early - gives them an opportunity to fix potentially unstable elements of what couldn't been part of a much bigger update down the road.

I aint trying to get at anybody's throats here, its just annoying to keep seeing this gif that displays "disappointment" still being posted on bug fix updates. Even if its posting it ironically to try and be funny, its just not funny anymore. According to your logic, people have been "on edge" since August.

It slowly turned into people being disappointed in when Valve would release small patches here and there, which like, I just dont feel like the TF Team should be given this type of disappointment for literally working on the game. And yeah just, the gif is not very funny anymore.

Whether or not the gif is funny to people, I think it's best that we don't keep dwelling on something so harmless. The more you refute, the more and more this silly topic turns into an argument that shouldn't need to happen.

It's okay if it's not funny to you but if it becomes annoying, it's alright to ignore it and move on. No need to dig up a year's worth of posts for something like this.

Y'all telling everyone that I'm trying to cut throats over here when I'm simply just trying to say what I think, and why I feel that way. Thats basically all I was trying to do, not trying to start shit or anything. I'll end it here, as you asked, but I had to say this because it seems like y'all are only seeing that I'm "saying my thoughts" instead of actually reading and understanding my thoughts.

And a game that started out good but becomes a sink for every new game idea anyone at the company had because no one has the resources to launch a new IP but also no one can tell anyone not to dump it into an existing game... is less good than it used to be.

Seriously, if you're resorting to gamemode-specific tweaks to the behaviors of specific classes, that's probably a good sign that the gamemode did not belong in that game.

Tyler with Valve News Network just posted on Facepunch he got an answer to most of the questions he sent Valve so we should get some new information soon. His questions:

1. How much pull did the team have in the development of the OST Vinyl? Are the new soundscape and unseen SFM pictures purposeful teasing? (This was already answered by Valve and is in one of his videos)
2. Mr. Lombardi stressed Valve's push to Source 2, stating that "Source 2 is the future for every project." Does this apply to TF2?
3. Almost three years have passed since the introduction of the Mann Co. Beta Maps program. What is the status on Asteroid and Cactus Canyon?
4. How far into the future does the team look? How much of a future, in terms of years, do you see for TF2 at this point?
5. Late June/Early July?
6. How does the team divide labor to achieve such high goals? With a smaller team, how do you get the work done?
7. What are the benefits of tiered rarity with cosmetics in crates?
