So, i normally only use the default tf2 models and particles. But this time i wanna make a frontline map for the 72 hour jam. Because that uses custom content was i trying if i could let the models and particalls work so if the 72 hour jam started i don't need to be searching hours online to find it. (and i am happy that i did) , but i have no idea how to let the custom particles work.I know u need to use the YOURMAP_manifest that needs to be named YOURMAP_particles. But where do you need to place that? And if i want to send the map to a friend what do i need to do so the custom models don't change to errors? I normally only send the .vmf file but i think that this wont work in this case. I searched a long time but i cant find how to do this.

I hope this isn't a to big noob question.

And already a thanks for everybody who wants to help me

The mapname_particles.txt goes in the tf/maps folder where your .bsp is. Then you pack this txt file and the particle file at tf/particles in your .bsp.

If the particles dont even show up for yourself then the particle text file might be done incorrectly.
