I have my control point master set to 0 1 2,3 4

This layout is correct. I have 3 CP's on the top row and 2 CP's on bottom row.

The top 3 CP's are A, B and C and the Hud displays their correct name, which is the Print name on the control point.

But the bottom 2 are not displaying the name correctly. They are showing up as A and A when I have Print name set to Data Link 1 and Data Link 2. Is that name too long or something?

Where is it displaying wrong? Print name is used on the HUD in the death tracker to say which point was captured. The game-play tracking HUD at the bottom uses material overlays, not anything you type in.

Were they copy and pasted? It's a long shot but try looking at your prop_dynamics and look for a loose I/O connection maybe.

Either that or try it with underscores..

no, you have to change the HUD overlays. they are probably still A because you copy and pasted. It is in the team_control_point, I just had this problem today and figured it out

Yep, I see in the Hud Overlay Nuetral field is says icon_obj_a

What sucks is when I brows to find a new overlay (ones with small boxes to fit in the corner of the Hud base icon, it only has A B C D E. No numbers to choose from?

Can you just choose no overlay so all it shows is the base icon square, which will be blank? It still should turn red or blue based on who captures.

Yep. Just leave the field blank.

If you want the overlays to say something else (ie numbers) you can make your own materials :)
