koth_warmth_a1 - the first version of koth_warmth

this is A1 of koth_warmth. i made this map a year ago but i stopped mapping. but i picked up hammer again and continued my first ever tf2 map
feedback would be nice of course.

You can enter the TF2Maps Steam chat or Discord server and type:
!add <map filename> <download link> <notes>

<map filename> = the filename of your map with the version string (but leave out the .bsp extension)
<download link> = direct download link to your map (you can get it by right clicking the Download Now link at the top of this page and doing 'Copy Link Location')
<notes> = Any notes you want the server admins to see when playtesting your map (requests to extend time limit etc.)

changelog A2
1 added new building on top of the control point to prevent some annoying sniper sightlines
2 changed sky_hydro_01 to sky_morningsnow_01 that also changed the theming of the map from desert/constuction to mountain/construction
3 added a secret cow easter egg
4 lowered the water
5 centered the control point
6 added no-build zones on the control point (sorry uncle dane)
7 changed some health and ammo
and now the biggest change
8 added a jimi jam poster

1 added a new flank area next to the control point
2 made the water area bigger with a dropdown from the flank
3 lowered the water
4 added a deathpit
5 moved some props around
6 added glass on the building above the control point
7 did some deatiling to get the construction feel going
8 changed some health and ammo
9 removed the cow easter egg (it will come back)
10 more no-build zones around control point

changelog a4 maybe pre-beta update
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 changed skybox to make the map brighter
2 changed the dropdown to point to remove fall damage
3 made some mountain detail on both side
4 added a moving train
5 added some cliff sound effects
6 changed some doorways
7 added arrow signs
8 removed the death pit and replaced it with the old wall with crate
9 added some small healthpacks to the useless space next to the ramp up to the small building

things that i want to happen with the map
1 change the volume of the sound
it's a bit loud at the moment
2 maybe get some highlander testing going
3 want feedback so i can think about making it a5 or b1

How did you make that background for your map? Did y stack those brushes behind and on top of one another?

1 changed the spawns so it isn't overscaled
2 changed the building after spawns
3 changed the bridge from the little building to mid
4 detailed everything except some ramps that maybe be changed to stairs
5 fixed most of the z-fighting
6 made the train go a little bit faster

1 removed some no-bould zones bexause some engies were very upset about that
2 fixed some clipping issues
3 did so more detailing
4 added a little spotlight on top of the dropdown building with a really cool yellow light that i find really nice looking
