so i fixed the problem i had with the missions even if i had one other weird problem which is i packed the map with the mission just to test if it works but when i updated the map it didnt add the new things such as buildings.
i thought that the cause would be the name so i changed it and nothing happent so the name is now mvm_whiterock.

now i am looking how to pack the map with the mission and nav using vide.
i tried doing what the (vide guide) on tf2maps said like selecting the bsp etc. and in the end when i clicked auto apply i selected add (mission) cancel and ok. it did add on the vide and i clicked save. but still it didnt work.
am i doing something wrong? or is there a better way to do the pack?

Should be doable, but you should zip up the bsp and pop instead, if you're doing a release.

so what exactly am i doing to release the map with the nav and the mission?

Create a zip folder, insert the map bsp file, then the pop file. You can upload the zip file with the map and pop to the site.

Should I also submit my map to the steam workshop?
It's not mandatory, but we encourage it! We want to create a steam collection of all the final entries, so if you post your map on the steam workshop we can include it in our collection! For the workshop, upload just the bsp file and link your map page on the item description so that server operators can download the nav and pop files. Here is an example.

You seem to be missing the relevant part:
For the workshop, upload just the bsp file and link your map page on the item description so that server operators can download the nav and pop files. Here is an example.
You can only upload the BSP to the workshop.

You can pack pop files into a bsp file but it's generally not a good idea in case (1) you make a mistake in your pop file/want to change it and (2) Valve changes something (most commonly, removing/renaming item attributes in the schema). I've seen both issues and it's a headache trying to deal with it (there's also a quirk where normal mode doesn't show up on the vote menu if the pop files are packed in).

What we suggested in the contest thread is to submit just the bsp file to the workshop (no nav or pop) and then to TF2Maps submit a zip file with the bsp, nav, and pop files in it. Then link to your TF2Maps submission on the steam workshop page.
