Fire Particles Crap Out!

I have torches and fire pots on my map for snipers to light their arrows from. There are 12 total but, their fire particle disappear at random times. Could be an hour then they disappear, could be a few hours, or sometimes they stay until the end of the map. The trigger for lighting arrows stays working no matter what, just the fire effects craps out at random times.

All other particles stay working no matter what as in the spot light particles, sprites, etc.

Checking the fire particle properties shows nothing wrong. Even Interlopers says there is nothing wrong with the map.

Would putting these things on a logic timer help? Have them re-fire every 30mins or so? It would mean I would have to name them all but would be worth it if this a viable fix.

Try to use timer, with stop and then strart output
Tip: give all fire particles one name. So you don't hve to add a ton of outputs
Seems that is going to have to be the solution for this case. ;)

After some more research and testing, it seems I have found the culprit.

It is the fire particle M.Brazer itself found in the AAA Lighting pack. That particle itself will crap out at random times or it could stay working until the server restarts. Don't get me wrong here though, the lighting pack is amazing still and all other things in it still work great. Just that one particle is a problem.

The solution?

I downloaded the Valve decompiled maps and replaced them with the fire particle from cp_degrootkeep. After testing it for 5 days it stayed working. Now to replace this thing on the other maps I have. :cool:
