Clipping Tool not cycling properly

When using the clipping tool, it usually let's you cycle between keep both halves, keep one half and delete the other, and vice versa.

However, for some reason it only allows two options, keep one half and delete the other (no vice versa), and delete both halves. Why is this happening, and how can I fix it?

This happens when the brush is too complex, so it chooses to delete the remainder as well. It actually does cycle properly, but the half that should have been left is deleted because of the complexity of the operation. I have had that problem as well and there are lots of such ones in hammer, it being old, buggy and unsupported software.

Ok, thank you. It's a little annoying but not too hard to work around.
